CardClaw is a trading-card market-intelligence tool. We answer one question well: what is this card worth right now? Snap a photo, get a market price, decide whether to keep it or list it on eBay. That’s the whole product.
Why we built it
Card prices move daily, sealed product drops are unpredictable, and the existing data sources are scattered across TCGplayer, eBay, PSA, and a half-dozen niche apps. CardClaw unifies those signals and surfaces them on a phone screen, so a collector can value a binder in an evening instead of a weekend.
How it works
- The scanner uses computer vision to identify a printed card from your camera in under 1.5 seconds.
- The price engine ingests TCGplayer mid-prices and eBay sold listings continuously, with a smoothed fair-value estimate that ignores bot-driven outliers.
- The export tool produces an eBay File-Exchange-compatible CSV with item specifics, titles, and HTTPS-hosted photos.
Who’s behind it
CardClaw is a solo-founder project based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We are not affiliated with The Pokémon Company International, Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures Inc., eBay, or any TCG publisher.
Roadmap
- Public beta — free for everyone (now).
- Pro tier with bulk listing, alerts, and arbitrage signals (summer 2026).
- Expansion to other TCGs (Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh, One Piece) when the Pokémon catalog is rock-solid.
